Let’s start with a tomato sevai

Hello Everyone!!!

A bright sunday morning and am starting my blog with one of my favorite n easiest recipe, sumptuous tomato sevai.

Ingredients:

  • Sevai 1 pkt (Concord is my best bet)
  • 2 to 3 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 green chillies
  • coriander
  • a few cashews
  • 1 table spoon of oil
  • 1 tea spoon of haldi, lal mirch, salt n jeera

Preparations:

  • Chop the onions, tomatoes, green chillies and corainder.
  • Boil the sevai in hot water and then drain the water.

Procedure:

  • Boil some oil in the pan.
  • Add 1/4 tea spoon of jeera and chopped green chillies, onion and stir the pan for a few mins.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and keep stirring it for a min.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of haldi, salt n lal mirch and stir it until the mix takes a semi-solid form.
  • Add the sevai onto the mix after the water is completely drained.
  • Keep stirring the pan until the sevai takes the color from the mix.
  • Now roast a few cashews add add them to the sevai. (Optional)
  • Sprinkle the coriander on the sevai.
  • Lower the flame.

And your tomato sevai is ready to eat 🙂
